Referral
Policy

To whom would Jointcare release this
information?
The referral policy for Jointcare specifically
outlines the procedure for referrals to Jointcare. In this
protocol, it is clear that Jointcare reports may be directed
to one or more of the health professionals treating/consulting
with a client. All such professionals are bound by the same
privacy constraints as Jointcare. Jointcare would not forward
a report in the circumstances where a referrer or client
expresses the desire that a report not be sent.
Sensitive information will be used and
disclosed only for the purpose for which it was provided or a
directly related secondary purpose, unless it is agreed
otherwise, or the use or disclosure of the sensitive
information is allowed by law.
